Privacy Policy
Last updated 18 September 2026
GreyTomato is a small studio. This policy covers the prototype software we build and test, not a finished commercial product.
What this app is
The app this policy applies to is a working prototype under active development. It exists for software development and testing purposes, and access is private: it is not published for general use, and only people we've invited can sign in. Features, data, and availability can change or disappear without notice while it's in this state.
Signing in with Google
The app uses Google Sign-In to authenticate testers. When you sign in, Google shares your name, email address, and profile picture with us — the basic profile information needed to identify you and let you in. We don't receive or store your Google password, and we don't request access to your Gmail, Drive, or other Google data beyond that basic profile.
How we use your information
We use what Google gives us to create your account, keep you signed in, and tell testers apart from each other. We don't use it for advertising, don't profile you, and don't sell or rent it to anyone. We don't share it with third parties except a processor strictly necessary to run the app (for example, hosting), and then only to the extent needed to operate the service.
Storage and retention
Data is stored only as long as the prototype is active and you remain a tester. If the prototype is shut down, or your access is revoked, we delete the account data we hold on a reasonable schedule afterward. Email hello@greytomato.com to ask us to delete your data sooner.
Security
We take reasonable measures to protect the information we hold, but this is prototype software, tested and iterated on quickly, and we can't promise the guarantees a finished product would give. Don't put anything into it you wouldn't want exposed.
Your rights
You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it and revoke your access, at any time, by emailing hello@greytomato.com. We'll act on it directly rather than routing you through a form.
Children
This app is not directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top. Material changes, while you're an active tester, get an email first.
